Breaking Through to Freedom

Wednesday Jan 16th, 2019 - Friday Jan 18th, 2019 | All Day

Embrace freedom from the bondage of past traumas. Dysfunctional relationships, bullying, broken families, addiction, neglect, incest, emotional and sexual abuse, as well as other traumatic experiences in the early years of a person’s life, can contribute to feelings of guilt, shame, sadness, anger, and unworthiness as adults which in turn keep us in “bondage”.  Many times, these experiences and gnawing thoughts and emotions continue to negatively affect us as well as our relationships.  This 3-day group counseling identifies the origin and addresses patterns of thoughts and behaviors that affect your daily life.  Through letter writing assignments, you will reconnect with the child you once were to walk safely through past experiences with other members of the group and a certified counselor in a loving Christ filled atmosphere.  It is our mission to assist you as you process and assess the past to walk forward in the freedom Christ originally designed for you.  The work is intensive, but the freedom is worth it.

What to Expect:

Group sessions with a maximum of 3 clients per group and at least 1 Certified Therapist.

3 Full Days from 8:30 to 5:00 for group sessions (Snacks and lunch break included!)

Nightly writing assignments will be extensive to be prepared for sessions each day. Each night you will be on your own to do the assignments.

It is very important that you come with a determined mindset to participate in the group work and the written assignments.  Group work benefits when everyone does what they can.

A sense of new beginnings!
